Our team is considering different ways we can test our Angular 7 application, and protractor is a natural selection for the process.
We are deploying to PCF, and our pipelines have already been set up for quite a while, but the developers who set up our pipelines won’t let us run protractor tests from Concourse pipes, stating there would be way too much memory usage to open a browser.
I can’t seem to find any information anywhere else on running specifically protractor tests via ci/cd processes to support or deny that claim. Our only solution we found is to test locally with a different deployed target server url.
Are there any thoughts around automating protractor tests on / before deployment? Thank you!
