How to purge builds that are older than certain time (like 1month)

If all users don’t configure build-logs-to-retain, eventually database will filled up, thus administrator should have a way to manually clean old builds in order to free up database space.

Is there such a way?

Yes. Look at the output of concourse web --help, it should list ATC-global settings.

@marco-m Thanks for the answer. Yes I know those global settings. It’s hard to judge max-builds-to-retain, because 1) we are still new to Concourse, we have set relative loose values; 2) pipelines are quite different, some pipelines generates huge amount of logs, and some generates much less logs. So that I’m thinking is, once we receive alert for DB space, OPs may have a way to purge old builds manually or by some automation script.
